I embarked on a journey to capture the essence of Berlin's vibrant coffeehouse culture while infusing it with modern flair. Drawing inspiration from the rich history of the café and its iconic founders' era furnishings, I aimed to create a digital space that reflects both tradition and innovation. I curated a website that echoes the warm tones, elegant furnishings, and romantic atmosphere of the café. By incorporating elements such as subtle textures, vintage-inspired typography, and captivating imagery, I sought to evoke a sense of nostalgia while keeping the design fresh and contemporary.
From the moment visitors land on the homepage, they are greeted with a seamless user experience that invites them to explore the café's offerings, from its renowned breakfast menu to its delectable array of cakes and coffees. Each page is thoughtfully crafted to showcase the unique charm and personality of Sowohlalsauch, enticing visitors to immerse themselves in its inviting ambiance and rich history. Through this redesign, I aimed to not only elevate the digital presence of Sowohlalsauch but also to celebrate its legacy as a beloved destination in the heart of Berlin. What do you think?
